Soybeans, Wheat Firmer Wednesday in Quiet Pre-Report Trade; Corn Little
Changed

In very quiet trade ahead of Thursday's September WASDE report, the markets
are mixed to mostly firmer with the exception of bean oil. Soybeans, soymeal
and wheat firmed up, while corn was up 1/2 cent and soybean oil modestly lower.
Hurricane Francine will make landfall on Wednesday, with heavy rains in the
Delta and southeast, some of which will delay harvest activity, while
late-planted soybeans could see a benefit. Traders are looking for record
yields in the report, with soybean production projected to also be record
large.
